Hi Nicholas, yes a retroshare protocol in telepathy would be best. XMPP is a standard, but retroshare protocol is serverless. Is the Messenger based on telepathy Nokia develops open source? is there any repository? We could use that sf.net project for that. as it could compile with Qt 4.7 for all platforms, it would be a cool small messenger with telepathy and retroshare for meego symbian compile and win linux mac as well. Nokia says, we just make a gui for telepathy, ok, but we need retroshare protocol then in telepathy, if the messenger is open source. or, we make the sf.net/projects/meegomessenger hybrid in the gui for both, retroshare and telepathy. all open and not defined yet, best would be RM in TP, but as there is no one working on it the sf.net projects starts with Qt gui on RM and makes a smaller gui for mobile with it based on http://retroshare.sf.net - so compilign this is the start, then adding the smaller gui files from sf.net/projects/meegomessenger from SVN to it.. and maybe later as well telepathy protocols. Regards Max
