In the past two years, I have been concerned about Maemo&Moblin.Frankly
speaking, Maemo&Moblin let me down. I love X window system, but GTKis ugly, it
is an anti―human toolkit，difficult to maintain, hard to understand.Why not Qt
earlier ? I know there are GPL or other copyright problems. But, without QT,
then can you guys choose GTK? Your Intelers and Nokiaers are mad and unwise !
The GTK choice is really crazy，suicide choice!
And now, Qt is coming, Android is ahead of US.How to defend Android？Lots of
Android applications are open source, not only Android platform, but also many
applications, including SMS,Phone,Music etc.According to the released Maemo and
Moblin, Nokia&Intel are so stingy,they will not open too much except the
platform and original open source applications.
But Meego? Open to what extent? Now times have changed and rules changed.I
think meego will open more than Maemo&Moblin, not only platform, but many
applications. First, Nokia‘s future core strategy is service, like ovi store
and maps.Nokia hopes there are more and more Meego manufacturer.Second, Android
is ahead of US.
Er,open to what extent? More than Android or Less than?
