If so this really categorizes developers into 2: the insider who can do architecture, design, and code for core part and the outsider who can provide bug fix and some *code* changes. The outsiders still can kinda do a new possibly better design if they can get enough resource and approval but this will be much more difficult, won't it?
Will it be the dev model after 1.0 release? Will it last until 1.1(?) after everything is pretty much nailed down then MeeGo can be opened for everything? Please correct me really. What I'd like to see in the roadmap and timeline is what will be opened and when and in what form of openness. Can I expect these as part of 1.0 release? Thanks. JD Zheng
