Master is always the latest and greatest development branch of MeeGo kernel which will be rebased onto 2.6.34 shortly. MeeGo-1.0 is the branch for MeeGo 1.0 release where kernel stays on 2.6.33 and will get stabilized by only accepting bugfix patches for MeeGo 1.0 release blocker bugs.
