I am interested in the answer to the question, however. Why was Btrfs chosen? I asked before but got no answer. I'm not questioning the decision -- I would like to understand the attributes of btrfs which have made it worth your while to choose it as, at first sight, it seems a very strange choice for a small, low-end system. I would also like to understand the possible implications of someone choosing to use MeeGo with a different filesystem. Also, will it be used on the handset platforms as well as netbooks?
