I've made a list quickly of documentation I think is appropriate for
reuse in MeeGo in the forum thread where this came up:
http://forum.meego.com/showpost.php?p=2515&postcount=10

In summary, since the media, connectivity & IPC frameworks are
identical, those docs should be able to be reused with little or no
modification, and since the developer tools are also mostly the same,
any documentation related to them should also be useful for MeeGo.

Great! That pretty much answers my question, then. In fact, this was my
main concern, since in general changing licences on docs needs some kind
of sign-off.

In this case, I don't believe there will be an issue - we have mostly
got a wiki changelog which lists authors of articles, the number of
those is quite small. For any "pure" community documentation which might
be useful (such as the autotools section of the Packaging page), the
number of authors is small and we can handle asking them.

Cheers,
Dave.
