Hi Ruben

You have to be more specific here. Meego has, as a policy, not develop most
applications, but instead contribute the necessary changes to existing
upstream applications. There are very few applications that were developed for
MeeGo, but which may in turn be used by others (for example, connman will be
adopted by Ubuntu).

So you have to be explicit about what lines of code you count.

Mostly C and C++ for binaries, and the usual suspects for scripts (shell,
Perl, Python). I don't know the proportions and I believe it would be up to
you to research that :-)

There are a couple of other languages in use.

The API recommended for application developers is in C++.

I think we go back to the original question again: which developers working on
code would you consider here? Are you thinking of the packagers? The
architects working on the overall infrastructure? The upstream developers?
Only the people who work in any of the projects created specifically for MeeGo?

For example, Qt is a central piece of MeeGo. Nokia has some 150 developers
working full-time, exclusively on Qt. But Qt is also developed for systems
other than MeeGo. How many of those 150 would you count, if any?
