So.. I went ahead and downloaded the VM, I was curious to see meego in
action first hand.

I grabbed the image, and tried loading it in both qemu and kvm with
the same result.  (See
http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/8663/meegosnapshot.png )

It does have X running which is further then I've gotten with the
previous images I've tried.

Not sure if it'd make any difference, running Ubuntu Lucid on a
MacBook Pro.  64bit, nvidia video card, though all of that should be
visualized by kvm/qemu anyways.
