So.. I went ahead and downloaded the VM, I was curious to see meego in action first hand.
I grabbed the image, and tried loading it in both qemu and kvm with the same result. (See http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/8663/meegosnapshot.png ) It does have X running which is further then I've gotten with the previous images I've tried.
