Hi, I've had the same experience ... I built my image using the meego-handset-armv7l-n900-nokia-closed-1.0.80.8.20100630.ks from http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/meego-codedrop.php using the following command: sudo mic-image-creator --run-mode=0 --cache=meego-sdbuild --format=raw --arch=armv71 --save-kernel --config=meego-handset-armv7l-n900-nokia-closed-1.0.80.8.20100630.ks
I then wrote it to microSD, flashed vmlinuz to the phone using: sudo flasher-3.5 -k meego-handset-armv7l-n900-nokia-closed-1.0.80.8.20100630-1.0.80.20100720.1631-vmlinuz-2.6.35~rc5-126.4-n900 -l -b="init=/sbin/preinit rootwait root=/dev/mmcblk0p1" ... and I see the device boot, but then it gets to: Waiting for root device /dev/mmcblk0p1 ... and reboots. Trying with the following: sudo flasher-3.5 -k meego-handset-armv7l-n900-nokia-closed-1.0.80.8.20100630-1.0.80.20100720.1631-vmlinuz-2.6.35~rc5-126.4-n900 -l -b="init=/sbin/preinit rootwait root=/dev/mmcblk0p1 rootfstype=ext3 rw omapfb.vram=0:2M,1:2M,2:2M" ... still ends up waiting for the root device. Does anyone have any idea how to successfully build a MeeGo handset profile image for N900? Thanks, Andrew. -- [email protected] / [email protected] http://www.andrewsavory.com/
