I'm thinking that maybe the naming of the lists has something to do with it. I 
did a quick poll among colleagues and (while not obviously the most scientific 
method) discovered that without additional information, they too would have 
posted application issues in meego-dev and platform/sdk related issues in 
meego-sdk. Note that a similarly named list (running for several years now), 
maemo-devel IS used for application development issues, also acts as a sort of 
precedent that adds to the confusion. If it was up to me, I would rename this 
list to meego-platform-dev and the sdk one to meego-application-dev, 
unnervingly long list names be damned. But it's not up to me, so I'll end my 
mail here :)
