I want to ask some questions on HDMI support in MeeGo. For example, when HDMI is connected, video playback goes to HDMI display, while control UI (button of play/pause/stop etc) shows on primary display.
I found Ubuntu can support multiple monitors. Windows can be moved from one monitor to another. It is supported by xrandr, xrandr creates a large virtual screen and place multiple outputs (screen/monitor) in it. So I expect xrandr can enable HDMI for MeeGo as well: when HDMI display is connected, video player is notified, then it can move playback window to a new position which map to HDMI output. Is this the right understanding? Does MeeGo touch support multi-windows for application? ( a video playback window, and a control panel window) Does MeeGo window manager (mcompositor) support multi-output (xrandr)? Can MeeGo Window manager (mcompositor) move windows between output (in virtual screen)?
