PyGTK is not part of the core and not part of the compliance set for

Pardon my ignorance, but how can you actually check which packages are in MeeGo
core and which are not? I simply went to
http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/trunk/daily/core/repos/ia32/packages/i586/
and assumed this would be the set of core packages.
That is the assumption of many people since we don't have any better
definition.
However, we are in the process of publishing the core os package list
which would then end of in the repos as well. Now the core os package
list is undefined.

Anyway, the argument about supporting Python application development in
different MeeGo application stores still holds. So - is proposing a project to
TSG the right way to approach this issue?
As a related issue, we also have a need to integrate a few other fairly
standard Python packages which are used at Nokia for software testing purposes.
We're prepared to do the packaging/porting ourselves but would like to know
what is the correct way of getting that kind of stuff into MeeGo repositories?
Cheers,
ma.
