Well, the window ID might change. Did you use the ID that you got from dbus-
launch?
Getting the ID without dbus-launch is quite hard.

Probably my shell-fu in ${DISPLAY#:}. I don't think it's correct.
For DISPLAY=:x.y, the file contains just "x". You have to drop the colon and
the screen number.
