Here is it.
1. update u-boot to 2010.06
2. download kernel from 2.6-stable-devkit8000
3. get the board-devkit8000.c, id.c, id.h from
gitorious.org/devkit8000/linux-omap-devkit8000.git and replace the one in
2.6-stable-devkit8000.
( this step is very important. otherwise you wont get DM9000 and USB......etc
work )
4.build 2.6-stable-devkit8000 ( result: uImage 4.3M)
5. Follow meego on beagleboard from scratch and create rootfs and SGX driver.
4.0.0
6. SD card needs to have SWAP partition.
7. set u-boot command omapdss.vrm=0:12M,1:0M,2:0M (in my case, 4M:4M:4M does
not work for me)

Hi Andy,

Can you share the detail step about "built the kernel, built Meego image and
put all into SD card",

Because I can't boot form SD card, and can't display the UI.

I really need you help, please help me.

Thanks in advance!

  Hi

      I currently bought a devkit8000 ( beagleboard clone ) system and trying
to install Meego on it. I changed the u-boot, built the kernel, built Meego
image and put all into SD card.
The system boot up correctly and I am able to run SGX demo. Here is the
question. How can I enable USB keyboard and mouse capability? Currently I
display Meego UI thru DVI.

  andy
