Hi,
Is there any middleware API in meego which can be used for setting display
brightness.
Regards,
dhaval.
Right now no. We'll have something for that in 1.2
Is there more information about it? Where is it being developed/discussed?
We can discuss it here. At Nokia, we have closed implementation in
Harmattan. Component called MCE is handling the lower parts and on top
of that we'll have Qt API for apps. The API is part of package called
Qmsystem. Qmsystem is kind of extension for qt mobility APIs which Nokia
needed for Harmattan. Once QT mobility API keeps enhancing the qmsystem
will contain less and less APIs.
Now, for MeeGo we don't have those components. We can open parts of
qmsystem whcih makes sense. That is under investigation now. Also, the
low layer API is open to me ATM. Any ideas what is the standard kernel
API to control the brigtness? I guess we at Nokia has our own again...
