Hi,
i compiled the Dialer of Meego Handset Ux with ARM in $sysroot of Meego
SDK. the target file like this
[...@cnchpc3368 bin]$ file dialer.org
dialer.org: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically
linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.25, stripped
[...@cnchpc3368 bin]$ file dialer
dialer: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked
(uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.25, not stripped
[...@cnchpc3368 bin]$ ls -l dialer*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 11009250 Nov 25 15:22 dialer
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 544260 Oct 26 03:49 dialer.org
the dialer.org is original one in Meego release 1.1, the dialer is build
by me. when i copy the dailer to my N900 instead of original, the dialer app
could not be launch when i press the phone icon in main interface, nothing
happened. i try to launch the both of them from terminal, but it's failed
also.
dose i missing something when i compile it? i notice the size of file
have a big difference, is it problem? how could i make the file stripped?
sorry for send mail to multi mail list.
