Hi, FYI. In gstreamer we've been using orc [1] to vectorize inner loops of algorithms. Orc has backends for sse, neon and others. The project might be interesting in other areas as well to avoid adding ifdefs all over the place and to help to get sse3 and neon optimizations in one go.
