According to BMC, the camera subsystem is still under definition, but...
The camera stack in N900 is in experimental state and currently the
kernel drivers aren't loaded at boot time. You can expect things to
change in following weeks though.
In mean time, Meego provides Qt Camera API
(http://doc.qt.nokia.com/qtmobility-1.1.0/qcamera.html) for interfacing
camera. This is the API that should be used from application level.
