Run the command udevadm monitor, you can see some output about the status of
USB device "add/remove"
So You'd go to
http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/releases/1.1/core/repos/source/to download
package
udev-161-3.41.src.rpm.<http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/releases/1.1/core/repos/source/udev-161-3.41.src.rpm>
Have a look at the source code udevadm-monitor.c!  : )
