Hi, all, This is an OHM video/screen policy framework question and please give me some advices. Thanks.
In the handset environment, applications should be hide or show based on priorities. For example, user is playing video in the media player. In the meantime, a phone call is coming. According to priority, player stops/hides immediately and phone app uses the whole screen resource. When the call is at the end, media player will show up/resume again. Question 1: If we want to reach above example case(screen resource), what can policy framework(OHM) do? ---- The following is my thought. Who have power to control the app show/hide? I think that "window manager" (ex: MCompositor, mutter) should do that. Window manager should support interface for policy framework enforcing it and policy framework should add some ohm-plugins code to enforce window manager behavior. What do you think of my thought? I am glad if you can give me some advices. Thanks, Ziv _______________________________________________ MeeGo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-dev
