Hi Arjan,
thanks for clarification,
I wanted to study ospm and power management.
so I was looking into ospm package.
I have one more doubt :
While I was looking into ospm package code, I came across reference to
device file "/dev/midppm".
Can you share some info on "/dev/midppm" please?

that includes /dev/midppm and many other things.
that version of the ospm package is NOT useful in MeeGo. Don't use it.
It doesn't do anything.
thanks again,

Hi,
I saw upowerd daemon running on MeeGo 1.1, and wanted to
remove it and test ospmd on aava device.
May I know the dependencies involved, either from kernel or
other modules.
and please let me know how to proceed in resolving those
dependencies.
I know that ospm package is going to be removed in MeeGo1.2,
but I wanted to study current implementation of ospm.
I'm sorry but I think you're confused....
first of all, upower and ospm package have nothing to do with
eachother.
second, the ospm package shouldn't have been in MeeGo 1.1 because
it's part of something that's just not implemented
in MeeGo 1.1.
why do you want to go this way???????
