Hi,
The non-graphical feedback framework, NGF, coming in MeeGo 1.2 (see the
attached mail) is meant for notification/alert type vibra playback. The idea is
that the NGF defines the interface for adaptation in this area (and NGF should
have a plugin architecture suitable for this). Whatever SW components are
between an NGF plugin and the vibra HW could then be adaptation specific.
I will update the MeeGo Porting Guide to talk about NGF.
The feedback framework is basically meant for binding tactile feedback to
visual elements in the UI.

but meegotouch-feedback can be used to realize same.
I browsed following code base

Present vibrator (forcefeedback) driver provides "input event interface -
/dev/input/event*" to the user space.
With simple user space test application (EVIOCSFF, write to dev/input/event*
etc.), I was able to make vibrator work.
but still not clear what is the standard way to add low level glue layer for
vibrator.
i.e. which are the function/file for low level (HAL) for vibra support in
feedback framework.
