Hi. The latest GStreamer release contains audio parsers for the most common audio formats. However, these are currently disabled in gst-plugins-bad-free.
While vanilla MeeGo doesn't support decoding proprietary formats, those are parsers and under LGPLv2(+). Having them readily in MeeGo would ease the work of vendors taking MeeGo into use and adding their own codecs into the product. Opinions?
