Hi, CC meego-packaging mailing list (more appropriate for this question).
Multi-distribution packaging refers to a spec file targeting different rpm based distribution (meego, fedoro, opensuse, etc...). It doesn't refer to the vertical available in MeeGo. here's an example of multi distro package: http://build.meego.com/package/view_file?file=qemu-arm.spec&package=qemu-arm&project=devel:tools:sdk:host&srcmd5=25da8336ab4aff1fc1eb6d15daac471d For your problem, I don't see any. The repository structure has changed (oss/non-oss) and the build requirements are available independently from the vertical. To build your package: BuildRequires: pkgconfig(meego-panel) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(mutter-plugins) When you install your software, the package should pull the required dependencies. I've found in page http://wiki.meego.com/Build_Infrastructure/Packagers_Developers#Multi-Architecture_and_Multi-Distribution_packaging mention about example multi-distribution specfile. But I couldn't find any information how I can create this specfile. For example I need to create spec file for building for handset and netbook target. My application (Omweather) uses libraries meego-panel and mutter-plugins I added this string to specfile: BuildRequires: pkgconfig(meego-panel) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(mutter-plugins) But handset target doesn't have those packages and I want to use same construction in specfie: %ifdist %{Netbook} BuildRequires: pkgconfig(meego-panel) BuildRequires: pkgconfig(mutter-plugins) %endif for fix this problem. Is it possible?
