Hi,

I noticed a problem on a Meego build (22022011 and IFWI B0.10) : process
uxlaunch keeps trying to launch himself without success.
As a result, lots of defunt uxlaunch processes.

ps auxfwww ?

It seems related to ssi/hci, so probably a kernel recompilation should be
necessary.

strange, there's no reason for uxlaunch to behave like this, what's ssi/hci?

Here is a sample of the end of the call trace from dmesg :

sig 6 is abort. it means something terminated in an unexpected way and the process didn't get time to clean up properly.

Launching pulseaudio manually leaves with error : "X11 connection rejected because
of wrong authentication".
As X11 server can't be opened.

so the desktop is running properly? How did you start pulseaudio? remotely?

I don't know exactly the root cause of this, is there a way to fix this by
changing some configuration temporarily ?

This bugreport is rather confusing and lists several completely unrelated things.

Please include all the relevant debugging files (/var/log/uxlaunch.log, /tmp/Xorg.*.log, dmesg, etc). so we can see all the information, and not just a random snipplet.

fyi, the sdhci-pci errors indicating that your driver, or drive controller, is malfunctioning. Obviously this invalidates all other bug reports, since they could be caused by that.

what platform is this?
