What about using http://www.mplayerhq.hu and various programs that wrap it effectively? I've found http://smplayer.sourceforge.net/ to be one such wrapper, and it's very much MeeGo compatible because it's based on Qt. For embedding a media player in the browser (so that when you click an internet MP3/MP4/etc link, the player embeds in the browser/QtWebKit) http://code.google.com/p/gecko-mediaplayer/ .... I'm beginning to document how to get these and all needed media playing plugins (for 1.2 Netbook UX, but probably usable on all ia32 based meegos): http://wiki.meego.com/MeeGo-Lem#Be_able_to_watch.2Fhear_common_internet_media_formats. -- Niels http://nielsmayer.com _______________________________________________ MeeGo-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-dev http://wiki.meego.com/Mailing_list_guidelines
