Hi all,

In case some of you are not aware, the Desktop Summit, a conference
organised by the GNOME & KDE communities, and focussed on free & open
source graphical user interfaces, is happening in Berlin on the first
week of August.

The call for content for the conference is open now, and will close on
Friday. It seems to me that there is a lot happening in the MeeGo work
which could benefit the entire desktop ecosystem, and that it would be
useful to all concerned to share the experience and work of all of the
UX teams. In particular, the desktop summit is a place where people with
problems can meet people with solutions - it's very much a conference of
doers.

This is just a quick reminder, in case anyone had forgotten or not heard
about the conference, of the deadline: https://www.desktopsummit.org/cfp

Thanks!
Dave.
