compliance specification?
I'm pretty sure "profiles" in this context means typical mobile phone
profiles like Silent, Loud, In Car etc. See the wiki page (currently
http://wiki.meego.com/index.php?title=Architecture&oldid=35162 just in
case it changes) which links to some Bugzilla entries which explain a
little more.
