I am just now adding support for controlling the timeout via a gconf
key, which will allow us to add a settings entry. Also... just in case
you are asking as an app developer, I am about to add a merge request to
meego-ux-components that adds a new Window.inhibitScreenSaver boolean
property which will inhibit/enable the screen saver while the specific
application is in the foreground.
