Hello,

There are huge amount of different kind of Graphics benchmarks available in
open source and commercially.

Few good starting points in Open Source Benchmarks:

1.) Spandex is graphics benchmarking and testing framework for OpenGLES1,
OpenGLES2, and OpenVG. Supports (according to readme) also WinMo and iPhone.
Downloadable in MeeGo Git at: http://gitorious.org/spandex. See
http://www.gitorious.org/spandex/pages/Home for more up-to-date documentation.

2.) GLMemPerf is an OpenGL ES 2.0 performance estimation tool that aims to
measure the memory bandwidth characteristics of a graphics implementation. It
performs a number of blit style renders using different texture formats, sizes,
orientations and fragment shaders. The results are given as frames per second
numbers. Available in MeeGo Git as well at:
http://gitorious.org/meego-graphics/glmemperf

3.) blts-opengles2-tests contains benchmarks which are intended to measure
OpenGL ES 2.0 performance with synthetic and more real-life tests. Also the set
contain some functional tests, such as checking needed GL and EGL extensions.
These tests perform various drawing operations using EGL and OpenGL. Results
will contain FPS and CPU usage measurements. Available in MeeGo Git at:
http://meego.gitorious.org/meego-quality-assurance/mcts/trees/release-candidate/mcts-blts/blts-opengles2-perf

4.) Phoronix contains extensive set of different kind benchmarks including
Graphics. It covers also other areas as well. Good starting point would be
Phoronix-test-suite web pages at: http://www.phoronix-test-suite.com/. Phoronix
test suite is supporting also other than Linux based systems and thus you
should be rather easily to be executed in other OS's as well. This may need
little bit tuning until it runs smoothly.

I hope you got information you were after.

Br, Tommi
