Hi Michael,
I stumbled across a patch that has been applied to Qt recently which
really makes no sense, for bug 18202:
http://build.meego.com/package/view_file?expand=0&file=change_defaultChannelCount.patch&package=qt&project=devel%3Aqt-mtf%3AMeeGo%3A1.2&srcmd5=272b99d5b7e5393640408e073f7b7c2e
I thought this seemed wrong, but double checked with Thiago, who knows
the HTTP parts of Qt quite well, and he confirmed that this doesn't
really make sense.
This setting controls the maximum number of HTTP connections to a host.
Why would you possibly want 200 connections to any given host?
If you do need/want this functionality for some specific application, I
still don't think patching Qt is the right way to accomplish this. You
might want to participate in the discussions on
http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/browse/QTBUG-8468 instead.
Thanks,
