Now I can see the small indicator and see the notification contents after
dragging down the status bar.
But I think it is not the best UX experience when some urgent warning info
should be shown in "real-time". I remember another showing mechanism (say,
notify-send + notification-daemon) in MeeGo 1.1 meets this kind of
requirements. I tried to install notify-send and notification-daemon onto
MeeGo Tablet 1.2, but failed to show the popup window (like in MeeGo 1.1). who
knows the reason? Or any optional solution?

Hi,
I am trying to show some warning info via sending dbus message to
MNotificationManager, but I can't find the popup notification.

Who can give me some hints?

The Meego image I installed: MeeGo tablet 1.2
Dbus command I used:
                $dbus-send -print-reply
-dest=com.meego.core.MNotificationManager /notificationmanager
com.meego.core.MNotificationManager.addNotification uint32:0 uint32:0
string:'test'

Thanks,

You should see small indicator in the statusbar indicating that there is a new
notification, and a quick banner that slides out with the text of the
notification for just a second. After that you can drag down on the statusbar
to open a UI containing past notifications that are still active.
