Now I can see the small indicator and see the notification contents after dragging down the status bar. But I think it is not the best UX experience when some urgent warning info should be shown in "real-time". I remember another showing mechanism (say, notify-send + notification-daemon) in MeeGo 1.1 meets this kind of requirements. I tried to install notify-send and notification-daemon onto MeeGo Tablet 1.2, but failed to show the popup window (like in MeeGo 1.1). who knows the reason? Or any optional solution?

After that you can drag down on the statusbar to open a UI containing past notifications that are still active. --rusty
