In an effort to get some momentum going on a fix for this on the nCDK, I'm looking for an "official" references to platform auto detection as a requirement/feature/bug. ATM, my bugzilla-fu is failing me. I can still open a bug, but it would be ideal to point to an FEA# that says it's required, if such a thing exists. If anyone finds such a reference, please pass it along.
