This seems to be especially appreciated by all the IVI developers I talk to. The option to start using XFCE instead of the default IVI UX will be communicated in notes to be provided, when the update is released. I suppose for the last time, and for old time's sake: whose thinking; where did it happen; where is it documented and how is the downstream impact (e.g. to vendors, application developers etc.) being communicated and managed?
