Dear Steven and MEEP's users,
First of all, I would like to thank you for all yours help!
Now, I have a trouble: My structure is PC slab (refractive index: n, slab
thickness: h) with triangular lattice of air holes. Point defect cavity is
formed in the center of the structure. The number of layers of air holes that
sourround the defect is 5. In my calculation, I study resonant frequencies vs.
the nearest-neighbor circular air-hole radius (r'). Simultaneously, the
neighbor holes are displaced outward by the distance d. (Please, see the figure
in the attached file).
After making the structure, I apply the Hz source in a *random*
(non-symmetric) location in the z=0 plane (not at 0,0). That way, I get the
modes regardless of their symmetry (only dopole mode). (Similarly, I apply
harminv at a same non-symmetric point as where I put the source). I don't
understand why my results are not correct (I refer to J. Appl. Phys., Vol.92,
pp. 654). Could you help me!

  I thank you in advance,
  Sung Park LEE
