If you're not sure what is going on with harminv, the best thing to do is usually to run it again with a narrow-bandwidth source around the resonant frequency. Not only is harminv more accurate given a narrow-bandwidth source that just excites the mode of interest, but also this way you can look at the field pattern and try to understand what (if anything) has changed.
