Hello,

>> I want to know about difference between continuous source and Gaussian
source.
The main difference is that a continuous source is a wave with just one
frequency and as its name says it is continuous, so it is always emitting
waves(You can turn it on/off with start/end-time). The Gaussian source
theoretically contains the hole spectrum of frequencies(in practical
situations in meep, you choose the range of frequencies it uses with fwidth
characteristic). When I say, it contains the hole spectrum I mean that it is
a Gaussian wave packet centered in a frequency and extending(in frequencies)
to infinity but with less intensity as you get far(again in frequency) from
the central one. I suppose that was what you were asking, but sorry if it is
not.

The other question... I am afraid I cannot answer, maybe someone else can.

Best regards, Fco. Cordobés Aguilar.
