Well, I should clarify that it is possible, in Meep, to specify  
structures that change as a function of time---in principle, you could  
redefine the dielectric function arbitrarily after every time step.   
However, any such motion is completely imposed by the user; you're  
correct in that Meep itself will not compute any dynamical motion of  
objects.
