I havent tried those files specifically, however all the tutorials from the
website lead to the same error.

I found that I could solve the problem by removing the meep 0.20.x package and
goig back to meep version 0.10, but ofcourse I'd prefer to use a more recent
version.

I have the impression there's a bug in the meep 0.20.3-x debian squeeze
package. Is there perhaps a way how I can check this and, if necessary, file a
bug report at debian.org?

Thanks and best regards,

Milan Marell

Have you tried the example files (in the meep/examples directory of
the Meep sources)?
