I want to calculate the band structure of 2D periodical cylinders. The cylinders only have dispersive Mu. I find there are many flat bands which are not exist in the results calculated by multiple scattering method. Although I change the frequency bandwidth, the resolution, the time step, the results have no change. Can someone tell me what happens? The ctl file for calculation is attached. Thanks in advance!

This is what I suggest whenever you are confused by the output of harminv:

Run another simulation with a narrow-band source centered at the frequency (and, in your case, k point) of interest. This will excite just that mode (if it is real). Then you can look at the field pattern and figure out what it means, physically.
