Dear Steven & MEEP Users,
I am trying to calculate the dispersion diagram of a
dielectric-metal structure. I have done everything according to the explanation
given in the MEEp's tutorial but the bands i got are not satisfactory. The code
is given below. Could anybody give me some advice?
(reset-meep)
(set! eps-averaging? false)
(set! geometry-lattice (make lattice (size 1 1 2)))
(set! default-material air)
(set! geometry (list(make block (center 0 0 0) (size 1 1 0.3)
(material (make dielectric (epsilon 1)
(polarizations
(make polarizability
(omega 1e-20)
(gamma 0.15977)
(sigma 3.8225e41))))))))
(set! pml-layers (list (make pml (direction Z) (thickness 0.2))))
(set-param! resolution 50)
(define-param k-interp 15)
(set! sources (list
(make source
(src(make gaussian-src (frequency 1.98) (fwidth 2.5)))
(component Ex)
(center 0 0 0)
(size 0 0 0)
)
)
)
(run-k-points 300
(interpolate k-interp (list (vector3 0 0 0) (vector3 0.5 0 0))))
Best Regards,
Swagger.
