Dear MEEP users, I spent a couple of hours modifying Scheme syntax highlighting in gedit (the default GNOME text editor) to make it (almost) fully understand MEEP/MPB keywords and the '.ctl' file extension. The language specification file is available at the URL below for anyone interested to check out.
