Dear Vinay, Thank you for your feedback. There seem to be a few invalid entries in your MIME directory (/usr/share/mime), but everything should be alright as far as Meep/MPB syntax highlighting is concerned.
You can manually select "Meep/MPB CTL" as your language (using the status bar, for example) if gedit doesn't automatically choose it for you when you open a ".ctl" file. It should just work from there. Please let me know if you run into any more trouble.
