hello Dear Steven and Meep users Up to now, I have run Meep for photonic crystals with square lattice and the results are the same as the MPB. I have tried to do this method for hexagonal lattice. computational cell is a rectangle with size of a*(a*sqrt(3)) with a cylinder at its center and four other cylinders at corners. its BZ is a rectangle with size of (2*pi/a)*(2*pi/a/sqrt(3)). My problem is the definition of corner of irreducible BZ, because I have tested some ways but the result is not the same as MPB and i see so many extra bands that it is not ordinary. Every help with be great to clear this problem.
