I fear what I am going to say may be irrelevant (and, possibly, I won't be able to be helpful beyond that, as I have never done these kind of calculations myself): what is the diameter of the tip of your tip? I haven't been able to read it out from your .ctl file, and maybe, but only maybe, if the tip is too narrow the enhancement becomes really huge.
