Just for comparison, these are some spectra recorded using the old Gaussian source: http://fzu.cz/~dominecf/misc/meep/img/ampli_debug_gaussian.png The structure couples to the low frequencies and induces ugly artifacts by spectral leakage.
And here are those obtained using the band source with width 0.1. http://fzu.cz/~dominecf/misc/meep/img/ampli_debug_band.png Obviously in the region of interest, the signal is clean of any artifact.
