In the band diagram example of holey waveguide given in MEEP tutorial what is the limitation on sy! The value of sy taken there is 12.I guess that value is not arbitrary.If it is less than that value lets say 6 there is distortion in dispersion diagram.Can anybody reply to that?Is there a relation between wavelength of the source and simulation domain size while calculating dispersion! Kindly reply.
