Dear all,

I run into the same problem that has been outlined here:
http://www.mail-archive.com/meep-discuss@ab-initio.mit.edu/msg01581.html
and here:
http://www.mail-archive.com/meep-discuss@ab-initio.mit.edu/msg03613.html

Basically, a 3D simulation works fine with eps-averaging set to false and imposing mirror symmetries in the x, y and z plane, but diverges when eps-averaging is turned on. Then, if the symmetry along y and z only is imposed - but not in x - the simulation works again.

If anybody found the source of the problem and potentially a solution, the help will be greatly appreaciated!

Best,
Momchil.
