Hello All,
Just finished an install on a CentOS 6.6 cluster. One notable flaw: Meep failed the three_d test during make check. I installed meep-mpi (1.3), mpb-mpi (1.5), and h5utils (1.12.1). I used guile-1.8.8, as the 2.0 versions did not build on my system. Dependencies were installed by source to $HOME, as I did not have root privileges, so I'll post these install notes separately for future reference. This turned out to be quite the project! Anyway, any idea why three_d fails? What does this exactly mean, and how cautious should I be in running simulations? Here's the test log and my system info: System info: Linux version 2.6.32-504.16.2.el6.x86_64 (mockbu...@c6b9.bsys.dev.centos.org) (gcc version 4.4.7 20120313 (Red Hat 4.4.7-11) (GCC) ) #1 CentOS release 6.6 ==================================== meep 1.3: tests/test-suite.log ==================================== # TOTAL: 19 # PASS: 18 # SKIP: 0 # XFAIL: 0 # FAIL: 1 # XPASS: 0 # ERROR: 0 .. contents:: :depth: 2 FAIL: three_d ============= Using MPI version 3.0, 4 processes Testing 3D...
