Hello All,

Just finished an install on a CentOS 6.6 cluster.

One notable flaw: Meep failed the three_d test during make check.


I installed meep-mpi (1.3), mpb-mpi (1.5), and h5utils (1.12.1).
I used guile-1.8.8, as the 2.0 versions did not build on my system.
Dependencies were installed by source to $HOME, as I did not have root 
privileges, so I'll post these install notes separately for future reference. 
This turned out to be quite the project!


Anyway, any idea why three_d fails? What does this exactly mean, and how 
cautious should I be in running simulations?

This comes out to a fractional error of 1.85307e-09
Right now I'm looking at 1.3 0.3 0.15, time 18.55

MPI_ABORT was invoked on rank 3 in communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD
with errorcode 1.

NOTE: invoking MPI_ABORT causes Open MPI to kill all MPI processes.
You may or may not see output from other processes, depending on
exactly when Open MPI kills them.
