Dear Thomas, I want to see the difference between the propagation direction (k) and the Poynting vector (S). Since the refraction index is negative, the k should follow the path of regular refraction, but the Poynting vector should be the opposite direction.
The simulation should be a simple plane wave source from air, penetrating into the negative refractive index material, with some reflection. It’s similar to the paper I linked in the beginning of the thread.
